Summer Tango Topic Classes
It is
that time again....summer is here and it is time for some fun!
Try our tango classes in Webster Groves for something a little
different. It is exciting, intense, interesting, and the people
are fun. There are classes for all levels and you do not need a
partner!

Intermediate Tango - Introduction to Opposition - July 28th to August 25th
Introduction to Opposition
Description: The idea of this class is to make clear the idea of what opposition is, how it works and how to apply it to dance so that leading and following becomes more organic. Opposition is a very rational, yet counter intuitive way to lead/follow that makes difficult material much simpler. This class will be taught by Robert and is a 5 week course. (However you may take only week 1 as a topic class if there is space available.) The tuition for this class is $75 and the class size is limited to 16 with a minimum of 6. The class is first come first serve and we will keep track through registration. You may make up one class at the Saturday technique class.

Description: This class will focus on the concept of changing the embrace. We will examine when it is practical as well as when it simply adds to the experience of the dance. Description: These classes are for the advanced student that has studied not only Argentine tango but also specificaly our preferred methods and techniques. It is for this reason that it is invitation only. This class combines all of the intemediate level material in complex and interesting combinations yet also focuses on strict technique and musicality.

You are allowed 2 Make up classes per 8 week session. They must
be arranged in advance and taken within the time frame of the
class you are enrolled in. There are no refunds or credits given
after the first day of class. If there is space available, you
may pay for a single class ($15) at the beginning of the series
(to try it out) if you are unsure about committing to the entire
class.
