Upcoming Classes

Our home base for our larger group classes is primarily in Webster Groves at The Monday Club. However, for the convenience of our students we offer classes at a variety of facilities.  Please check carefully to assure the location of the class you register for.  Here is a list of the current venues:

The Monday Club, 37 South Maple Ave. ( Webster Groves )  Map and Driving Directions note: the facility looks like a house from the front but it is quite large and hosts a 2500 sq foot wood dance floor that is one of the best in the city!

The Technique Studio, Conveniently located near Lindberg/Dorsett our technique studio is in a residential neighborhood and is more intimate (450 sqft), has mirrors as well as a lovely bamboo floor and is located at 10247 Thorpe Avenue. 63114  (corner of Thorpe and Krem - enter the driveway off Krem for studio entrance)  Come early and check out the new walking garden.  This studio has great energy and is a wonderful place to learn!

Keepin' it hot this winter with Tango!

Come keep things warm and cozy this winter a little with some Argentine Tango lessons.  The community is diverse, the people are fun and (really) everyone should know how to tango!  It is fun and sexy and is a great way to get out and do something exciting! You do not need a partner, nor do you need any experience (for the 101, 102 or close embrace) all you need is your sense of humor and two feet...even if they are both left!

Cost:  $120 per person for the 8 week series of your choice. 
(That is only $15 a lesson - lessons are 1hour 15 minutes)

We feel that learning close embrace and open tango simultaneously has many benefits.  Because of this we offer you to take the Tango Close Embrace and the 102 or intermediate for $180.  Pay Online

Details:
You are allowed 2 Make up classes per 8 week session. They must be arranged in advance and taken within the time frame of the class you are enrolled in.  There are no refunds or credits given after the first day of class.  If there is space available you may pay for a single class ($15) at the beginning of the series (to try it out) if you are unsure about committing to the entire class . form:

Details: If you miss a class we invite you to make it up in another salsa class if one is available within the month you are registered.  If there are no other equivalent or lower level salsa classes being offered at the time then there will be no make ups offered.  There are no refunds or credits given after the first day of class.
 

Yoga - the art of finding and creating space within yourself

      

 Yoga is the ancient practice of linking mind, body andspirit to find balance in all aspects of life. Yoga reduces stress and tension , strengthens muscles and the immune system, realigns the entire body for better posture, improves circulation and digestion, teaches correct breathing and enhances concentration and creativity. 
Yoga is ideal for students of dance who simply wish to explore the possibility of becoming more aware of themselves.
This 75 min class is for students of all levels. Please bring your own yoga mat and a firm blanket.
 

When: Tuesdays, Jan 5th to 26th

Tuition: $50pp for the four week session.  Call ahead if you wish to drop in on a class to ensure there is space available. The tuition is $15pp for drop in students.

         Tango Technique
This class develops the techniques of how to make tango look like tango with many independent exercises so that you can practice at home without a partner.  To be a good partner it is just as important to develop your own dancing as it is to develop the partnering and we feel this class gives you the opportunity to do this.  This is a supplemental class to your regular class.  It can not replace your regular classes.  It is open to all students taking tango in St Louis!
